The airboard, with the combination of electric motor and a cusion of air allows you to hover over the ground. Created by Arbortech thi.s is the same seen at the 2000 olympics. It's fiver feet in diameter and weighs 150 pounds. It's started by an electric motor and switches to gas after startup. It is steered solely by shifting body weight. One handle controls the brake and the other the clutch. It can go up to 90 minutes on a full tank and the maximum speed is 25 mph. It can ride on ay decently flat surface and can do most of the tricks a skateboard can do. Riding it is described as a combonation of flying and skiing. It cost $10,000 and is ready to use right out of the package. It has been the dream of many for decades and is the perfect big boy play toy.

It's now twice as awesome

Self-Driving Car

This car, invented by Google, has been on the roads as part of a secret test. Each had someone at the wheel, but not driving! This works by the camera on top creating a 3-D map of the area around it, motion sensors on the front and back see incoming cars and a camera on the inside roof looking for bicyclists and pedestrians. With over 70 different test drives with only two incidents (a bicyclist cutting a red light and someone rear ending it) All you have to do is put where you want to go in the GPS and it will do the rest! If you wish to cease control all you is press the button on your right or turn the steering wheel. This has been proven to be safer then a driver driving such as it reacts faster and can't become tired, distracted, or intoxicated. You can even choose how it drives. If you want for it to drive cautiously or agressivly it's just a click of a button. Google says they don't plan to sell it at the moment, but one thing is for sure it would change the as dramaticly as the internet has.
